The body of an innocent child who was missing for two days and had come to his maternal grandparents' house was recovered from the pond in Sondhi village of Jagdishpur police station area of Bhojpur district on Monday morning. The relatives of the deceased child are accusing the family of killing the innocent child and throwing away the body.
The dead child was three-year-old Karan Kumar, son of Chandan Sah, resident of Brahmapur village of Brahmapur police station area of Buxar district. Here, after the body of the missing child was found, the relatives and local villagers got angry and blocked the Ara-Mohania National Highway near Narayanpur village with the body of the dead child. They were demanding the arrest of the accused.
There was a queue of vehicles on both sides
Due to the road jam, there were long queues of vehicles on both sides of the road. Traffic came to a complete halt. The road was jammed for about four hours. On receiving information about the road jam, Jagdishpur CDPO Rajiv Chandra Singh, Jagdishpur Police Station Incharge Bigau Ram and Dhangai Police Station Incharge Ritesh Dubey reached there with the police force and started convincing the people.
After a lot of efforts by the police, the jam was cleared by convincing the people. The police sent the body to Sadar Hospital, Ara for postmortem.
The child was not found even after searching
The deceased boy had come with his parents to his maternal grandmother's house in Saundi village under Jagdishpur police station area on Friday to attend the 'Chheka' of his maternal uncle Bablu Gupta and he suddenly went missing since Saturday afternoon.
After this, his family members searched for him a lot, but he could not be found. After this, his father filed an FIR. Meanwhile, on Monday morning, his body was found in a pond located in the village itself.
On the other hand, it is said that the deceased child's other maternal uncle Rajesh Gupta has a grocery shop in the village. Two youths from the village and the neighbouring village had gone to his shop to buy snacks on credit and he refused to give them. Due to which a minor dispute took place between them.
However, the matter was settled. Due to the same dispute, the family of the deceased boy has accused Gutur Pandey, a resident of Sondhi village and a person named Munna Tatva, a resident of Hatpokhar village of kidnapping the boy, killing him and throwing away his body.
However, the police is investigating the case at its own level. On the other hand, the police has taken immediate action and arrested two main accused. The arrested accused include Gutur Pandey, resident of Sondhi village and Munna Tatva, resident of Hatpokhar village.
However, the arrest of both of them has not been confirmed by the officials yet. It is said that the deceased boy was the second among his three brothers. His family consists of his mother Babita Devi and two brothers.
After the death of the child, the atmosphere of happiness in his maternal grandparents' house turned into mourning. Where people were celebrating, as soon as the news of his death was received, screams and cries started echoing in the house.
After this incident, there is chaos in the house of the deceased child. After this incident, the mother of the deceased child Babita Devi and all the family members are crying inconsolably.
