Users of WhatsApp may now access a functional Favorites page at last. This option will save you bacon if you wish to be able to swiftly communicate or call your close friends or family members on the messaging app.
While standard calling programs have had a favorites tab for years, WhatsApp has finally realized how important it is to provide this feature to its millions of users. WhatsApp emphasizes in a blog post that “starting today, you can quickly find the people and groups that matter most at the top of your calls tab and as a filter for your chats.”
Users may have to wait a few days or perhaps a week to get the functionality for their account before all WhatsApp users receive the update for the favorites page, which is rolling out for users starting this week.
Using the ‘Favorites’ tab on WhatsApp for calls and chats
WhatsApp is assisting users in comprehending how the functionality may be integrated into both the call interface and their message feed.
Select the “favorites” filter from the chat window.
Choose your groups or connections there.
Select “Add favorite” under the calls tab.
Choose your groups or connections now.
Additionally, you may modify the order of your “favorites” at any moment by heading to Settings > Favorites > Add to Favorites.
For WhatsApp users, who can now just go to the Favorites part of the messaging app to contact or talk with someone close to them, this tab is probably going to become the fast dial version.
