On Monday, Tishaa Kumar, the daughter of T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar, had her burial in the Mumbai neighborhood of Vile Parle.
A large contingent of the Hindi film industry came there to offer their last condolences to the deceased.
In order to get to the crematorium, actors Riteish Deshmukh and Saiee Manjrekar, as well as Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, and the Nadiadwala family, were spotted wading through the flooded streets of Mumbai.
Shera, Salman Khan’s chief of security, also paid his last tribute.
Jaaved Jaaferi was also in attendance to offer his sympathies.
Following a protracted struggle with sickness, Tishaa Kumar, the 20-year-old’s daughter of Krishan Kumar, departed from this life yesterday, according to a statement issued by T-Series. The family is going through a trying period; therefore, we respectfully ask that their privacy be respected.
Tishaa was reportedly fighting cancer, and her family had flown her to Germany to get treatment. That was where she died on Thursday.
Following Gulshan Kumar’s death in 1997, Krishan Kumar—who had a failed acting career in the 1990s—took over T-Series management.
Later, Bhushan Kumar, Gulshan’s son, took over as chairman and managing director of T-Series.
