Bareilly: A headless body of a six-year-old girl was found near Bariely’s Pitambarpur Railway Station, reported police on Tuesday. However, the Assistant Superintendent of Police, South, Manush Pareekh ruled out the murder angle, saying, “It appears the girl was either hit by a train or attacked by some wild animal, which dragged the body due to which the girl’s head separated from the body.” He added, “The body looks at least seven to eight days old.” The victim has not been identified, ASP said. The body has been sent for the postmortem to determine the cause of death. The police team is investigating the case from all possible angles, added cops.(PTI)
