LPG Cylinder Price Hike: The price of LPG gas cylinder has been increased from August 1. OMCs slightly increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders. Now you will have to pay Rs 6.5 more for a 19kg LPG cylinder. This increase in price has been done in the rate of commercial cylinders. Oil companies had reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 30 on July i.e. 1st July. But now from August 1 the cylinder has become costlier by Rs 6.50. In Delhi it has increased from Rs 1646 to Rs 1652.50. Earlier till July 31 a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder was available for Rs 1646. The effect of the price increase from the first day of August can be seen in all four metros of the country. Earlier this cylinder was available for Rs 1756 in Kolkata which will be available now for Rs 1764.50 from today. The commercial LPG cylinder price in Mumbai has increased from Rs 1598 to Rs 1605. Similarly in Chennai instead of Rs 1809.50 you will have to pay Rs 1817 for this commercial cylinder from today. In Kolkata companies have increased the maximum price by Rs 8.50. Domestic Gas Cylinder Price Companies have not made any changes in the price of domestic LPG cylinders. Domestic cylinders will continue to be available in Delhi at the rate of Rs 803. A 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 829 in Kolkata Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai. Oil companies have increased the price of aviation fuel. Its rate has been increased by Rs 3006.71/kg litre. The new rate will be applicable from today itself.
