Live Hindi News :- SBI Chairman Dinesh Kumar Kara has expressed appreciation that the announcements in the Union Budget will have a huge impact on the Indian economy. In an interview to a news agency, he said, “The announcements made in the budget regarding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Nirman Project will benefit the banks. This all-inclusive budget focuses especially on the development of rural areas.
Also, importance has been given to aspects like employment, tourism and skill development. I think this will have a huge impact on the Indian economy. The fiscal deficit has come down to 4.9 per cent which is very good for the economy. For the agriculture sector, the focus on digitisation of land documents will make it much easier for farmers to get Kisan Credit Card than before,” said Dinesh Kumar Kara.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2024-25 in the Lok Sabha this morning. This includes exemption from import duty on 3 medicines for cancer treatment, reduction of customs duty on mobile phones and chargers to 15 per cent, reduction of basic customs duty on gold and silver to 6 per cent.
