The event feature is now being rolled out to stable users and will be available to more users in the coming weeks. Initially, the feature was tested on Android and was limited to WhatsApp communities, but now it has been expanded to iPhone users as well.

How to use the event feature

Tap the '+' button: This option is available in group chats.

Select 'Event': After tapping the '+' button, select the 'Event' option to start creating your event.

Enter event details: You can enter the event name, description, date, and address. Additionally, users have the option to choose a video or audio call for the event.

Once the event is set up, all group members will receive a notification when the event begins. Importantly, all event details are end-to-end encrypted, ensuring that the privacy of all participants is maintained.
