A sensational case has come to light in Bihar's Muzaffarpur where the dead body of a 3 and a half year old innocent girl was found inside a trolley bag. The incident took place in the locality behind the Rambagh FCI godown in Mithanpura police station area. The girl has been identified as Mishti Kumari, daughter of Manoj Kumar who lives nearby. She was murdered by slitting her throat and then the body was stuffed into a trolley bag and thrown away. The girl's mother, Kajal Kumari, is missing since Friday afternoon 2 o'clock. It is suspected that the mother, in an illicit relationship, along with her lover, killed the innocent daughter and then fled after disposing of the body.

As soon as the information was received, a large crowd gathered. Police reached the spot. The body was taken into custody and sent to SKMCH for postmortem. Mishti's father Manoj Kumar and maternal uncle Karan Kumar also lived in the same house. Manoj and Karan went to their respective work on Friday morning. At 2 pm, Kajal Kumari left the building telling a relative living on the ground floor that she was going to her aunt's birthday party. She said that she would return late at night.
Due to this, the relatives did not pay attention. It is suspected that the mother threw the body of her innocent child along with the bag in a pit behind the house and fled. Her mobile phone is also switched off since Friday afternoon. When Manoj and Karan returned from work at night, they found the gate closed. They kept searching for the missing Kajal and her three and a half year old daughter Mishti throughout the night. When nothing was found anywhere, a complaint about the disappearance of both was lodged at Mithanpura police station at 9 in the morning.
When the police came to the locality for investigation, they saw a bag lying in a pit behind the house. When the bag was checked, Mishti's body was found in it. Mithanpura Thanedaar said that clues of the missing Kajal are being searched from CCTV and tower location. The family members are suspecting the absconding Kajal of the murder. The body has been sent for postmortem. The incident is being investigated by FSL. The entire room will be investigated by FSL. If the girl has been murdered in the room, then blood traces will also be found in the house.
