This placement makes the Privacy Checkup feature always visible and easily accessible, allowing users to quickly review and modify their privacy settings as needed. By tapping this entry point, users are taken directly to a checkup that walks them through key privacy settings, including who can see their profile photo, last seen status and other personal information. 

The report says, "The benefit of this permanent Android point gives users more flexibility to manage their privacy settings as per their preferences. With this update, users no longer have to rely on periodic reminders to check their privacy settings. Instead, they can navigate to the checkup screen anytime to adjust their privacy controls."
