A big feature is going to come in the Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp, after which the way of using this app will change. This new feature of WhatsApp is being tested on the beta version of iOS. According to the report, WhatsApp is testing the Augment Reality (AR) feature which can be used during video calls.
According to the report of WABetaInfo, the AR feature in WhatsApp was seen on Android's beta version 2.24.16.7 in July this year and now it is being tested on iOS's beta version 24.15.10.70 which is part of the TestFlight program.
According to the screenshot that has surfaced, after the arrival of the AR feature, users will get dynamic facial filters in which users will be able to change colors, etc. according to their needs. After the new update, changes can be made in the background of the AR tool during video calls.
WhatsApp iOS beta users will get two modes which include Touch Up and Low Light. Touch Up mode is for facial filters and the other is for better video calling in low light. This feature is currently under testing, so it is difficult to say when it will be released.
