An incident that puts relationships to shame has come to light from Dhamtari in Chhattisgarh. The husband made a proper plan to kill his wife. On the pretext of taking his wife for a walk, he took her on a bike about one and a half km from his village to the dense forest and brutally murdered her. The murderous husband did not stop here, to save himself he took another disgusting step. So that no one could recognize his wife's face, after killing her, he poured petrol on her face and burnt her. The matter did not end here. After this, the husband returned to his village from the spot. After returning to the village, he lodged a report of his wife's disappearance in the police station. The police have made a disclosure in this case and arrested the deceased's husband and his associate.

Dhamtari police has solved the murder case of a woman. The deceased's husband and his nephew have been arrested in the case of the woman's murder. Revealing this, ASP Sunil Nayak said that on the night of 7-8 February 2024, the police found the body of an unknown half-burnt woman 20 meters away from the CC road of Bhoblabahara village in Dugli police station. The cause of death of the deceased was revealed after the post-mortem report came from the doctor, in which it was told that the deceased died due to serious injury marks on the head, neck and stomach. The police have registered a case under 302 and started investigating the matter.

To search for the woman, the missing persons in all the districts of the state were matched with the Samadhan Police App being run in Chhattisgarh on the basis of the woman's appearance, age and attire. After a lot of searching, she was found in Bhanupratappur of Kanker. A complaint of a missing woman was lodged in Bhanupratappur, in which it was told that a 33-year-old woman named Jayanti Netam is missing. Her husband Manrakhan Netam has lodged a complaint about her disappearance in the police station. Based on suspicion, the police deployed informers to collect information about the deceased's husband Manrakhan Netam.

Petrol was taken by tying it to a motorcycle

Meanwhile, on the information of the informer, Manrakhan Netam was interrogated under suspicion, but he was evading the police by giving evasive answers. When the police strictly interrogated Manrakhan, he told that due to suspicion on his wife, he made a plan with his partner Ramdev Haslam. As per the plan, he had tied the cutter and petrol in the trunk of his motorcycle. On the morning of 07 February 2024, Manrakhan Netam made his wife Jayanti Netam sit in the car saying that he will take her for a ride and asked his nephew Ramdev Salam to ride on his bike.

He travelled about 150 km from his village Mohgaon via Kaker Narharpur and reached the dense forest of Dugli. Taking advantage of the forest, he hit his wife Jayanti Netam on the head with a rod and attacked her stomach and neck several times with a knife and left his gamchha as a mark at the scene of the incident and fled after throwing the knife in the dense forest. Once again, late at night, he reached the scene of the incident to get the gamchha he had left behind. With the intention of hiding the identity of the deceased, he burnt her face by pouring petrol on it and returned to his village. Later, the police revealed the matter.
