In today's digital world, smartphones have made various tasks of our life easier, especially revolutionized the matter of transactions, through the UPI app you can exchange money sitting anywhere, to enhance the user experience, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched a facility called UPI Circle from Monday, it is designed to simplify online payments for individuals who do not have a bank account and UPI ID, especially to benefit those living in underprivileged or rural areas. GooglePay is already integrating this feature and with potential adoption by platforms like Paytm and PhonePe, UPI Circle promises to expand the reach of digital transactions. Let's know about it-
What is UPI Circle?
UPI Circle changes this by allowing users to add individuals who do not have a bank account or UPI ID, who are linked to the primary user's UPI account.
How does UPI Circle work?
Adding users: The primary user can add one or more individuals to his UPI Circle. These added members can make payments using the primary user's bank account.
Setting limits: The primary user can set transaction limits for each added member. This means you can control how much money can be spent by each individual linked to your account.
Payment limits: The transaction limit through UPI Circle is Rs 15,000, while individual payments are limited to Rs 5,000 per transaction.
Partial payment option: To ensure security, partial payments can be configured. This means any transaction initiated by a circle member will require the primary user's UPI PIN to complete.
