Locate the nearest Aadhaar service center
Locate the Aadhaar service center nearest to your location. This can be done through the UIDAI website or by asking locally.
Visit the Aadhaar Service Center
Visit the center and request a correction form. Make sure to choose the address update option in the form
Fill out the correction form
Give your name, Aadhaar number, and other necessary details in the form.
Attach address proof
Include a photocopy of the new address proof document with the form.
Bring original documents
Keep the original document with you for verification purposes.
Biometric Verification
After submitting the form and documents, you will have to go through biometric verification, which also includes photo capture.
Address Update
If all the details are correct, your old address will be updated with the new address.
Get Updated Aadhaar Card
After paying a nominal fee, your updated Aadhaar card will be sent to your new address within a few days.
