EPF has provided the facility to check the balance. Users can easily check their balance through the website and app. Apart from this, you can also check your balance through SMS. We will tell you about these four methods.
Check balance with UMANG App
You have to install the UMANG App on your phone.
After this, log in with the help of a user ID and password.
After logging in, you have to select the option of 'View Passbook' in the app.
Now the balance will be shown on the screen. In this, you can also check the date and amount of all deposits.
Check the balance from the EPFO members portal.
You have to go to the EPFO website and select the Employees section.
Now after logging in, go to 'Member Passbook'.
After this, to check PF details, you have to enter your UAN number and password.
Now your PF passbook will be shown on the screen.
Missed call
You can also check your balance through missed calls. For this, you have to give a missed call to 7738299899 from the UAN registered mobile number. After this, you will get a message. In this message, you will know your balance.
SMS
EPFO has also provided the facility to check balances through messages. To check the balance through message, you have to write 'UAN EPFOHO ENG' and send a message to 7738299899. After this, you will get to know the balance in the reply.
