But when the gas cylinder comes home, the gas consumer does not need to do anything. But now this process has changed a bit.

According to the new procedure, getting gas cylinders is now going to be a bit difficult. Now to get gas cylinder you have to tell the OTP received on your mobile number. In that case, we will now go through a very brief description of exactly how this new process will work.

How is the new process?

In fact, you have to do the booking as per the new procedure as you currently book the gas cylinder. But when the gas cylinder is given to you by your gas distributor, the OTP received on the registered mobile of the customer has to be given to the employee of the said gas distributor.

So now it is clear that gas cylinder will not be delivered without OTP. Actually this rule was applicable earlier too but now this rule has been made mandatory.

Earlier this rule was not compulsory so no one was sharing OTP. Also, this OTP was not asked from the gas delivery employee. But now this rule has been made compulsory and due to this now even gas cylinder will not be given if OTP is not given.

Overall, now after booking the cylinder online, an OTP will be sent to the customer's registered mobile number, the customer will have to show this OTP when the gas agency employee comes home to deliver the cylinder.

If this OTP is not shown then the customer will not get the cylinder. This means that the customer's registered mobile phone must now be at home while taking delivery of the gas cylinder. Due to this, the senior citizens and the people living in the villages are going to suffer a lot.
