LPG Price on 1 October 2024: Modi Government has given a big shock to the common man before Navratri. Expensive cylinders are going to trouble people before festivals like Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali. Today, on October 1, 2024, oil marketing companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder by Rs 48.50. Companies have not made any change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cylinders. However, the price of 5 kg LPG Cylinder has been increased by Rs 12. According to the IOCL website, these rates have come into effect today from October 1, 2024.

Price of 19 kg commercial cylinder increased to Rs 48.50
Today is the first day of the month of October. LPG cylinder prices are fixed on the first of every month. Oil marketing companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 48.50 from today. The price of cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1740, which was earlier Rs 1691. In Kolkata, the cylinder will be available for Rs 1850.50 which was earlier available for Rs 1802. In Mumbai, the cylinder will be available for Rs 1692.50, which was earlier available for Rs 1644. In Chennai the cylinder will be available for Rs 1903 which was earlier Rs 1855.
No change in prices of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder
There is no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder. The price of 14 kg LPG remains the same as the rates of August 1. It is available for Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai. Its price in Delhi for general customers remains Rs 803 while for Ujjwala beneficiaries its price remains Rs 603. The government had reduced the rate of 14 kg cylinder by about Rs 100 in August 2023. On October 1, 2024, the price of commercial gas cylinder has increased by Rs 50.
