LPG Gas Cylinder: To prevent misuse and tampering of gas cylinders, gas companies have implemented a new system. Under this, now customers will have to tell the DAC code only then they will get the gas cylinder. Due to the new system, customers in the city are facing many problems. People are not able to make bookings as they do not know the process. Also, consumers are hesitant to tell the code at the time of cylinder booking and delivery.

Now you will have to book the cylinder yourself from your registered mobile number. In which a code will come on the mobile, the cylinder will be given only after telling it. It is now mandatory for customers to tell DAC i.e. Delivery Authentication Code to get the cylinder. Petroleum Corporation Limited has also issued an advisory regarding this.

You will be able to check subsidy from mobile

Manager Ajay, owner of Yogita Gas Agency located on Akodia Road, said that now a code will be sent to the registered mobile number for delivery of gas cylinders. Only after that the cylinder will be available. Consumers will be able to check whether the subsidy amount has been received in their subsidy account or not through their mobile.
There are two ways to check subsidy through both registered mobile number and LPG connection ID. Visit the website mylpg.in, enter the 17 digit LPG ID number and login. OTP will be sent to the registered number and after completing the further process, you will be able to get information about booking history and subsidy.
