Free Cylinder in UP: Yogi government has announced to give free cylinders to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana before Diwali. For this, authentication of Aadhaar of the beneficiaries is necessary.
Free Cylinder: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has announced to give free cylinders to the beneficiary families of the Ujjwala scheme before the festival of Diwali. Complete preparations have been made by the government in this regard. But, to take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary to have Aadhaar verified. If this is not done, you will not be able to get a free cylinder. Therefore, if you want a free cylinder before the festival, then first you have to link your Aadhaar to the bank account.
There are 1,85,95,736 beneficiary families of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in UP. But, out of these, only 1,08,29,669 people's Aadhaar number is linked to the bank account and is verified. In such a situation, those beneficiaries whose account is not linked to Aadhaar may be deprived of the benefit of free cylinder. In such a situation, it is necessary to get Aadhaar verified in time.
After the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, it is necessary to authenticate Aadhaar . The Food Department has issued a government order regarding free cylinders. Under this, one cylinder will be given to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana in the months of October to December before Diwali. Whereas the cylinder given on Holi can be taken between January to March. For this, an additional burden of Rs 1889.84 crore will be imposed on the state government.
For this, the beneficiaries will have to first take the cylinder, after five days of which the money for the cylinder will be transferred to the beneficiary's account. Last year too, CM Yogi had provided free cylinders to the beneficiary women of Ujjwala Yojana on Holi and Diwali. Due to which 85 lakh women benefited.
Let us tell you that during the UP assembly elections, BJP had announced to give two cylinders in a year on the festivals of Diwali and Holi. After winning the elections, they have been continuously fulfilling this promise. The state government gives one cylinder free on Diwali and one LPG cylinder free on Holi to the beneficiary women of Ujjwala.
