Thousands gathered in London's Trafalgar Square on October 27 to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, with Mayor Sadiq Khan addressing the crowd, emphasizing themes of unity and good prevailing over evil. The event featured diverse performances, food stalls, and attendees from across cultures, reflecting London's multicultural spirit. Attendee Rikki Gupta remarked on the global mix of people present, celebrating together, while Prasad Kolas highlighted London's inclusive nature. Organizers estimated around 10,000 people attended the festivities, marking the 23rd annual Diwali celebration in the city.
