The Rajasthan government has introduced a new benefit for families under the National Food Security Scheme (NFSA). Through this initiative, eligible families will be able to obtain LPG gas cylinders for just Rs 450.

To access this benefit, it is mandatory to get the Aadhaar card of all family members linked with the NFSA ration card, along with their LPG IDs.

This process will be conducted at all LPG outlets across the district from November 5 to 30, aiming to reach as many beneficiaries as possible.

According to the District Logistics Officer of Jalore, all shopkeepers in the district have been directed to ensure the seeding of Aadhaar, e-KYC, and LPG IDs for each member of NFSA households. This seeding will be done digitally, ensuring data security and minimising future inconvenience.

Subsidised LPG for Rs 450

To complete the seeding, beneficiaries are required to bring Aadhaar cards, and e-KYC documents of each family member along with their LPG connection papers. The ration shop will then carry out the seeding process for each household member. Ration distribution will only occur after the seeding process is complete, allowing families to access subsidised LPG cylinders at Rs 450.
 

This requirement applies to all NFSA beneficiaries, and the subsidy is available only once all necessary documentation is verified.
