What is happening?
HSBC Bank has alerted its customers about a fraudulent WhatsApp group called "85-HSBC Global Academy". The fraudsters behind this group are pretending to be representatives of HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited.
This scam group is using WhatsApp number 8008723938 and falsely claims to be associated with the official HSBC Asset Management team. HSBC has clarified that Venugopal Mangat and HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited are not associated with this fraudulent group in any way.
