There is good news for the ration card holders of Rajasthan. Recently, the state government had decided to give LPG gas cylinders to eligible families for Rs 450. It is believed that lakhs of families in the state can benefit from this scheme. To get a cheap cylinder under this scheme, you have to link the Aadhar card of all the members of your family with the ration card. At the same time, it is mandatory to link the cylinder ID with the ration card. After this work, you have to go to your nearest LPG outlet and contact.
The Rajasthan government has implemented this scheme from November 5 to November 30 at all LPG outlets in the state. Now there are a few more days left for this scheme to end. To take advantage of this scheme, you will also need an Aan Adhar card and LPG connection documents. You have to go to your ration shop with these papers. Here the process of verification of your papers will be completed.
This step will provide relief to the poor families living in rural and urban areas of the state. In the era of inflation, this initiative can prove to be helpful in reducing the financial problems of consumers due to rising prices of LPG gas.
A total of more than 1 crore 7 lakh 35 thousand families in Rajasthan are included in the National Food Security Scheme (NFSA) list. Under the National Food Security Scheme (NFSA), currently, 37 lakh beneficiary families (ration card holders) in Rajasthan are taking advantage of gas cylinders for Rs 450 under the Ujjwala scheme of the Central Government. At the same time, under this scheme of the Rajasthan government, 68 lakh families in the state will also be able to take advantage of cheap cylinders. This will put an additional burden of Rs 200 crore on the Rajasthan government.
