If you are looking for a safe investment option for a limited period, which gives good returns and there is no risk of sinking money, then you should invest money in State Bank of India's 'SBI Amrit Kalash' FD. This FD scheme of SBI with a special period of 400 days is quite popular. This is the reason why the bank has extended the deadline of this scheme several times.
This scheme was first launched on 12 April 2023, and the deadline was fixed as 30 June 2023. After this, it was extended first to 31 December 2023, then to 31 March 2024, and then to 30 September 2024. Now the bank has extended it to 31 March 2025 (SBI Amrit Kalash Last Date), so that customers can take more time to invest in this attractive scheme.
How much interest will be given
In SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana, the bank is giving 7.10 percent interest to the general customer (SBI Amrit Kalash Interest Rate) and 7.60 percent interest to senior citizens. Under this scheme, customers can deposit a maximum amount of up to Rs 2 crore. If a senior citizen deposits Rs 1 lakh in this FD, then on maturity i.e. after 400 days, he will get Rs 108358. If he deposits Rs 5 lakh in SBI Amrit Kalash FD, then on maturity he will get ₹ 541792.
The general customer is being given a 7.10 percent interest in SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana. If one lakh rupees is deposited at this interest rate, then on maturity ₹ 107806.76 will be received. On depositing Rs 5 lakh in the FD account, ₹ 539033.80 will be received.
How to invest?
Investing in this scheme is also very easy. For this, you have to go to your nearest SBI branch and take the necessary documents like an Aadhar card, PAN card, passport-size photo, mobile number, and email ID. You will get a form for the Amrit Kalash Scheme in the branch, after filling and submitting it your account will be opened immediately.
