EPFO is a very good option for investment. In this, the employer also contributes along with the employee. The employee invests 12 percent of his basic salary in it. The employer also contributes the same amount. After retirement, the employee gets a part of it in a lump sum, and a part is received as a pension.
Interest is given by the government in the EPFO scheme. Currently, 8.25 percent interest is given in EPFO. The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) pays interest money annually. The interest amount is deposited in the EPF account. EPFO members have been waiting for the interest amount for a long time. Now this wait is over. EPF has deposited the interest amount.
