State Bank of India (SBI) has started the recruitment process for Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) posts of Assistant Manager in various categories. As per the official notification, a total of 169 Assistant Manager posts are to be filled. Eligible and interested candidates can apply through the official SBI website from November 22 to December 12, 2024.

SBI Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Manager (Engineer-Civil): Candidates applying for the mentioned posts should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks. They should also have at least 2 years of experience in the construction or maintenance of buildings, testing materials, or planning and design.

Assistant Manager (Engineer-Electrical): The applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks and at least 2 years of experience in installation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as UPS, generators, lifts, etc.

Assistant Manager (Engineer-Fire): Degree in Fire Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience in fire safety or firefighting roles.

SBI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Candidates for most of the posts will be selected through an online written test and interview. For the Engineer-Fire post, shortlisting and interaction will determine the final selection. The exam is scheduled for January 2025. The online exam will cover general aptitude and professional knowledge.
