Siddhi Jain | December 2, 2024 12:15 AM CST

Starting December 1, 2024, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased by ₹16.50, marking the fifth consecutive monthly hike. In Delhi, the new price is ₹1818.50, up from ₹1756.50 last month. Similar increases have been observed in cities like Kolkata (₹1927.00), Mumbai (₹1771.00), and Chennai (₹1980.50).
This hike, influenced by rising energy demands in winter, is likely to affect costs in restaurants and hotels. However, prices for domestic LPG cylinders (14.2 kg) remain unchanged at ₹803 in Delhi and vary slightly across cities, with subsidies continuing for Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries.
For commercial LPG users, these price trends could signal further adjustments in the near future.
