According to media reports, actress Nargis Fakhri's sister Alia is accused of setting fire to a two-storey garage in Queens, New York. Her ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs and his girlfriend Anastasia 'Star' Etienne have died in this fire. Now the police has arrested Alia in this case. Till now Alia has not got bail from the criminal court.

After the matter came to light, Nargis's mother spoke to the news outlet. He said, 'I don't think she can kill anyone. She is a very nice person. Who takes care of everyone. She also helps everyone.

A witness present at the spot said, 'We smelled something burning, when we went outside and saw that the sofa kept on the stairs was on fire. In such a situation, to save the lives of both of them, we had to jump from the fire. Before this, Aaliya often told everyone that she would burn his house and kill him. Then we used to laugh at his words.
