
Janakpur (Nepal), Dec 06 (ANI): The local administration of Janakpur is deploying thousands of police personnel as a sea of devotees, including high-level officials from India, participate as part of the Barat for the Vivah Panchami celebrations. The city of Janakpur in Nepal is preparing for the 'Sita Ram Vivah Mahotsav,' as it is the maternal home of Goddess Sita. On November 26, Lord Ram's 'Baraat Yatra' (wedding procession) began from Ayodhya's Ramsevak Puram and arrived in Janakpur. The wedding rituals took place on December 4 and 5, following the culture of Mithila, and December 6 marks Lord Ram's Vivah Panchami. On December 7, after the wedding concludes, the 'Kalevar' ceremony will be held, and on December 8, the 'baraat' will depart from Janakpur, reaching Ayodhya on the night of December 9.
