Caught On CCTV: Lorry Rams Into Moving Bus On Chennai-Bengaluru Highway, 10 Injured

A private company bus collided with a lorry on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway near Thandalam, resulting in over ten serious injuries. The injured were rushed to hospitals, and a CCTV video of the accident has gone viral.
Chennai: A major accident occurred early this morning on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway near Thandalam, close to Sriperumbudur, leaving over ten people seriously injured. The incident involved a private company bus colliding with a lorry, as reported on X.
More than ten individuals sustained serious injuries in the collision. The injured were promptly attended to and rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. A CCTV camera nearby has captured the whole incident and the video has been going viral on X.

The exact cause of the accident is not yet clear. Police are investigating the incident to determine what led to the collision.
In similar news from Mumbai, Police have arrested the driver of a BEST bus involved in a tragic accident that killed seven people and left 49 others injured. The driver, Sanjay More, has been charged with 'culpable homicide.'
The bus, operated by Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST), lost control near the White House building, close to the L War Office. The bus, travelling on route 332 between Kurla and Andheri, crashed into multiple vehicles and pedestrians before finally hitting the entrance of Ambedkar Nagar around 9:30 pm on Monday.
According to BEST, the driver lost control of the bus, which caused it to speed up uncontrollably. Police have detained More, and he will be presented in court soon.
