SBI Card has discontinued the accrual of reward points on transactions made with digital gaming platforms and merchants for specific credit cards, effective December 1, 2024.
“W.e.f. 1 Dec 2024, accrual of Reward Points on spends done on Digital Gaming Platforms/Merchants will be discontinued for certain credit cards,” according to the SBI Card website.
Here is a list of SBI credit cards where reward points will not be applicable on digital gaming platforms/merchants:

SBI credit card rule change: Changes in utility payments from December 1
Starting December 1, 2024, a 1% fee will be charged on utility payments exceeding Rs 50,000 in a billing cycle. This includes payments for telephone, mobile, electricity bills, and insurance premiums.
As per the website, “W.e.f. 01 Dec 2024, if the sum of all utility payments made in a billing cycle exceeds Rs 50,000, a 1% fee on the total amount of utility payments will be applicable.”
