LPG Cylinder Subsidy:- If gas cylinder subsidy is not coming in your account, then the process of applying for gas cylinder subsidy (LPG Subsidy) is very simple for Indian citizens. This subsidy is provided by government LPG companies like Indian Oil, HP Gas, and Bharat Gas. If you want to get subsidy on LPG cylinder, then follow the following steps:
Process to apply for Gas Cylinder Subsidy:
1. Conditions necessary for receiving subsidy
Aadhaar Card: To avail subsidy you must have Aadhaar card and it must be linked with your gas connection.
Registered Bank Account: You need to link your account with the gas connection to receive subsidy payment from your bank account.
2. Link to bank account
It is necessary to link the Aadhar card and gas connection to the bank account. This process can be done online or through the gas agency.
For this, you will have to go to your gas agency and provide your bank account details and if it is not linked to Aadhaar, then you will have to apply to link it.
3. LPG Subsidy Linking Process (Online)
If you already have a gas connection, then you will have to link your bank account to the gas connection.
You can link your bank account by visiting the company's website. For example, if you are a customer of Indian Oil, you can do so by visiting their Indian Oil's Customer Portal.
4. Final approval and payment of subsidy
When your bank account is linked to the gas connection, your LPG cylinder subsidy will be transferred directly to your bank account. This subsidy usually appears as a reduction in the price of the cylinder.
You will continue to receive this subsidy every time you refill the cylinder unless the subsidy is stopped based on your income or other criteria.
5. Online Application
If you have not applied yet, you can apply online by visiting the website of HP Gas/ Bharat Gas/ Indian Oil.
You will have to fill in the details of your gas agency, Aadhaar number, bank account details etc.
6. Complaint for refund/subsidy
If you are not receiving gas cylinder subsidy payment, you can contact the gas agency or take help from their customer care.
Also, you can check LPG subsidy status through internet banking or mobile banking.
Note: If your income is above a certain limit, you will not receive gas subsidy.
Under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), the subsidy is sent directly to your bank account, making the process transparent and easy.
In this way you can get subsidy for your gas cylinder.
