Jharkhand News: An FIR has been registered against Sadar SDM Ashok Kumar in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. There is a serious allegation against him of killing his wife by burning her. This case has been registered by Raju Kumar Gupta, his own brother-in-law and brother of his wife Anita Kumari, at Lohsinghna police station.

Raju alleged that Sadar SDM Ashok Kumar and his father Duryodhan Saav, SDM's younger brother Shivanandan Kumar and younger brother's wife Rinku Devi, with the intention of taking her life, sprinkled turpentine oil on her sister Anita Devi and set her on fire. SDM's wife lost her life in this incident.
Died last Friday night
Here, Anant Singha, director of Ranchi-based Devkamal Hospital, told the media that the condition of the SDM's wife was critical. She had suffered more than 65 percent burns. He died on Friday night after battling for life on the ventilator. After this the police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Demanded justice from CM Hemant
However, on the complaint of family members, an FIR has been registered against the SDM in Hazaribagh. Rajkumar Gupta, brother of deceased Anita Gupta, said in the FIR that his sister was burnt to death by SDM Ashok Kumar and his family members. When the in-laws were convinced that she would not survive, she was taken to the hospital. The family members of the deceased have appealed to CM Hemant Soren, DGP Anurag Gupta and the Women's Commission for justice. After the FIR, the district administration has sent the complete report of the case to the headquarters.
