Facility will be available in withdrawing PF money from ATM
EPFO has talked about giving a special type of ATM card to its members. With this ATM card, EPFO subscribers will get the facility of 24/7 fund withdrawal. This facility of withdrawing PF money from ATM can start in the financial year 2025-26.
Change in contribution limit
The contribution limit of PF account holders may change next year. Currently, the employee contributes 12 percent of his basic salary to the EPF account.
The government is considering giving contribution on the basis of the actual salary of the employee. This will enable employees to collect more money at the time of retirement and they will also get more pension every month.
Facility to invest in equity
From next year, EPFO subscribers can invest in equity. EPFO is considering allowing its subscribers to invest in equity. This will enable PF account holders to manage their account more effectively. Due to this change, the possibility of getting more returns may increase.
