SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: The State Bank of India has released a significant announcement about modifications to the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 deadlines. The deadlines for ex-servicemen have changed. The notification is available to applicants on sbi.co.in, the official SBI website.

According to the official notice, “The competent authority has decided to amend the cutoff date(s) with regard to the above advertisement, in line with Government of India guidelines, for candidates who are still serving in the Armed Forces and wish to apply for the post of Junior Associates.”
The revised guidelines state that individuals who are currently serving in the armed forces and would like to apply under the Ex-Servicemen category must submit a declaration (Proforma ‘C’) and a certificate (Proforma ‘B’) from the appropriate authority stating the date the Specific Period of Engagement (SPE) ended. To be eligible to apply for this post, applicants must have finished their SPE by January 31, 2026, at the latest.
At the time of joining the bank, they would also be required to provide the release letter and a self-declaration attesting to their eligibility for the benefits granted to ex-servicemen in accordance with Government of India regulations.
Additionally, candidates on extended assignments who have completed their initial engagement time are required to provide a certificate in accordance with Proforma ‘D’. The candidates mentioned in (ii) and (iii) above must be released and join the Bank by March 31, 2026, at the latest, if they are chosen. When joining, these certifications need to be turned in.
The registration process for SBI Clerks has started. Applications must be submitted by January 7, 2025. 13735 internal posts will be filled by this recruiting exercise.
