LPG Price Hike: Prices did not increase in December. But this time VAT has been added

The pressure increased in Heschel.

The price of cooking gas has increased by 4 taka per cylinder. After the price increase, the price of an LPG cylinder is 1,459 taka. This was announced by the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC).  

VAT has been added.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission had set the price at Tk 1,455 on January 2. On Tuesday, BERC announced the new LPG gas price by adding VAT.

No increase in December

And this price remained unchanged last December.

Private LPG

The price of private LPG per kg is Tk 121.56, which was Tk 121.19 before the VAT increase. The price of gas supplied in liquid form under the reticulated system has been fixed at Tk 117.81.

Auto gas

At the same time, the price of auto gas has been increased from 66.78 taka per liter to 67.27
