
The Congress on Thursday promised to provide 300 units of free electricity, LPG cylinder for Rs 500, and free ration kits if it comes to power in the Delhi Assembly elections.
To reach out to women voters, the Congress last week promised to give Rs 2,500 to every woman under its 'Pyaari Didi Yojana' if it comes to power.
On January 8, the party announced another scheme called 'Jeevan Raksha Yojana', promising free health cover of up to Rs 25 lakh. The announcement was made by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who was addressing a press conference along with AICC Delhi in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin and Delhi Congress chief Devendra Yadav. Launching the 'Inflation Free' scheme, Revanth Reddy said, "If the Congress comes to power in Delhi, it will fulfil its five guarantees.
The party on Sunday also promised to give Rs 8,500 per month to educated unemployed youth in Delhi for a year.
Voting for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held on February 5 and the counting of votes will take place on February 8.
