January 22, Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Actor Anusha Dandekar recently met Amitabh Bachchan, and the encounter brought back a lot of memories of her time spent with the megastar on the “Virrudh… Family Comes First” film sets.
Anusha posted a photo of herself with Big B on Instagram with the caption, “My first father-in-law ever… lucky me #viruddh reunion.”
‘Virrudh’ brought back fond memories for even the devotees.
“A beautiful and really moving movie. The Big B and you both performed well. A social media user lamented, “Unfortunately, the film was washed away with the July 26th rains.”
“This film was innovative for its day. Another netizen wrote, “Abhi release hue hoti to you could have won Filmfare.”
The movie celebrated its 19th anniversary in July of last year.
The crew of ‘Viruddh’ was thanked in a message written by Anusha, who recalled working on the film.
“What a success my first wedding was! For many, like me, 19 Years of Virrudh was a magnificent film. Have you seen it? Much obliged, @maheshmanjrekar You are the reason I have such unique films.She had written, “I also get to say I worked with the greatest.”
Mahesh Manjrekar directed Viruddh in 2005. Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham, and Sharmila Tagore also appeared in the movie.
