According to authorities, a former Indian Army member murdered his wife, dismembered her corpse, cooked it in a pressure cooker, and then dumped the parts into a lake in Jillellaguda in Meerpet, Telangana, resulting in a horrific murder case.
Inspector Nagaraju of Meerpet Police claims that on January 18, 2025, a lady named Subamma filed a missing report alleging that her 35-year-old daughter Venkata Madhavi had vanished. Thirteen years ago, Madhavi married Gurumurthy, a former Army soldier who is now employed by DRDO at Kanchanbagh as a security guard.
For the last five years, the couple has been residing in Venkateshwara Colony, which is inside the boundaries of Meerpet Police Station. They have two children. Police filed a missing complaint on January 17 after the complainant’s daughter Madhavi and her 45-year-old husband Gurumurthy got into a fight on January 16.
“A guy has filed a lawsuit alleging that he murdered his wife, dismembered her corpse, and dumped the pieces into a lake. The DCP of LB Nagar informed the news agency, “We are looking into this to find out the truth.”
