Lucknow : A big case of death of 4 children has come to light from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Four children have died due to eating adulterated food at Lucknow Rehabilitation Center here. At the same time, the health of 20 children deteriorated who has been admitted to the hospital.

About 20 children suddenly fell ill at the Government Rehabilitation Center in Para area of ​​Lucknow who were taken to Lokbandhu Raj Narayan Joint Hospital. The capital's DM Visakh said that the health of two girls and two boys of the rehabilitation center deteriorated. He was between 12 and 17 years old. He was admitted to the hospital where he died during treatment.

Deputy Chief Minister visited hospital

State Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak visited Lokbandhu Hospital on the information of the incident and met the hospitalized children after eating adulterated food at the Government Rehabilitation Center. Told that the condition of children is stable. It also said that a child is having seizures, but is out of danger. He is being given better treatment.

Food samples sent for testing

The minister said that there is a possibility of adulteration in food, so samples from the rehabilitation center have been sent for testing. The officials of the Food Safety Department have been talked to and the matter will be clear in the investigation. Action will be taken against the culprits based on the investigation report. Currently, priority is to improve the health of children. The center has 147 children including destitute and mentally unhealthy children.

CM Yogi expressed concern over the incident

Minister Brijesh Pathak said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed concern over the incident and he will also go to the hospital to meet the children. The DM of Lucknow has been directed to visit the rehabilitation center and submit the report soon. Dr. Rajiv Kumar Dixit, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, said on Thursday that about 20 children of the rehabilitation center were brought to this hospital. Children are being treated better.
