Whatsapp iOS users can now set WhatsApp in their device for messaging and calling. After updating the version of the app from 25.8.74, this feature will start appearing on your iOS device. Let us know that users now have three options to set as a default app which includes facetime, phone, and Whatsapp. It is now shown as an alternative when setting the default messaging app along with the existing message app on the iPhone.

The user has to go to Settings first to set WhatsApp in the form of the default app for calls. Here you have to go to Default Apps. After going here, tap on calling, and select Whatsapp. These steps will be used to set the app for messaging. That is, you have to go to Default Apps. After going here, tap on Messaging, and select Whatsapp.
This feature first appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS 25.8.10.74 updates. But it was only available for beta testers. Now it has been rolled out for all users. It is available with the latest updates of Whatsapp for iOS which can be downloaded from the App Store. The feature of the feature means that users will no longer have to depend on Apple's System Apps for calling or messaging. Therefore, it can prove to be a quite a feature for users.
