In Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, unidentified miscreants shot and killed the Air Force Chief Engineer SN Mishra (51) in the early hours of Saturday. This incident is of Air Force Colony in Bamrauli. SN Mishra was sleeping in his house at the time of the incident. At around three o'clock, the miscreants knocked on the door of his house, then he got up and started looking out of the window. In this way, the miscreants standing at the gate opened fire on them. In this incident, Chief Engineer SN Mishra died on the spot.

On receiving the information, the Pura Mufti police station reached the spot and started investigating the case. According to the in -charge Manoj Singh, the bullet was hit in SN Mishra's chest. He was hurriedly admitted to the army hospital, where doctors have declared him dead. After this, the police have taken the body and sent it for postmortem.
Chief Engineer lived with wife-son
According to Inspector Manoj Singh, Chief Engineer SN Mishra lived here with his wife and son in the government quarter. At the same time, his daughter studies in Lucknow. He said that till now a complaint has not been received from his family members regarding this incident. A case will be filed on receiving the complaint. After inspecting the opportunity, he told that the crooks may have jumped the back boundary in the campus.
Police engaged in investigation from the angle of rivalry
According to the police, Chief Engineer SN Mishra was posted as Commander Works Engineer (MES) at Air Force Station Bamrauli. The family has not given any concrete reason for this incident. It is feared that there may be a contract dispute behind this incident. The police has started investigating the case on this angle. According to Prayagraj's DIG Ajay Pal, the police is also looking at the matter from the angle of rivalry.
