April 1st LPG Price Cut: Today i.e. from 1 April 2025, the new financial year has started. With which many major changes have also been implemented in the country. Oil marketing companies have cut the prices of LPG gas cylinders on the first date of April. At the same time, new income tax slabs have also been implemented. Changes in these rules on 1 April 2025
* Like every time, the oil marketing companies of the country have amended the prices of LPG gas cylinders on the first day of the new month (1 April). According to the IOCL website, the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have been reduced. It has become cheaper by Rs 41 in Delhi and Rs 44.50 in Kolkala. However, there has been no change in the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders.
* New tax slabs have also been implemented in the country since 1 April 2025. Under the new tax slab, persons earning up to Rs 12 lakh annually will be exempted from paying tax. Also, salaried employees will be eligible for a standard deduction of Rs 75,000. That is, salary income up to Rs 12.75 lakh will now be free from tax. However, this discount only applies to those who choose a new tax option.
* TDS regulations have also been updated since 1 April 2025, with a limit to different classes to reduce unnecessary cuts and improve cash flows for taxpayers.

* From 1 April 2025, UPI will remove a number that has been inactive for a long time. In such a situation, the mobile number which is link to UPI, but has not used them for a long time, then that number can be removed now.
* From today the government is going to close the Women's Honor Savings Certificate Scheme. Under MSSC, returns up to 7.5 per cent annually. At the same time, the investment period was kept at 2 years. This scheme was specially designed for women.
