LPG prices increase by Rs 50 per cylinder

MMBAIL MMBAI MAMMBHEUnion Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that the prices of LPG gas cylinders will be increased by Rs 50 per cylinder. The domestic LPG cylinder for Ujjwala beneficiaries will now be priced at Rs 550 per cylinder and Rs 853 for non-state beneficiaries.
The minister further said that LPG price hike will be reviewed every 15 days and it will be changed on the basis of international prices. Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin has opposed the increase in LPG prices. He said that this increase is unfair and it causes problems to the common people. He also accused the BJP of raising prices before the elections and then the move to reduce them.
