Nagpur News: A 50 -year -old female doctor was found dead in her house in Nagpur city of Maharashtra, with bruises on her head. A police officer gave this information to a news agency. The officer said that the body of the woman was found in her house in Ladikar layout under the boundary of Hudkeshwar police station on Saturday night.
The victim Dr. Archana Anil Rahule was an assistant professor in the Government Medical College and the Physiotherapy Department of the Hospital. According to the police, Archana lived alone, because her husband Dr. Anil Rahule works in Raipur (Chhattisgarh) and her son, who is a third year medical student, studies in Pune. The victim's husband saw the dead body at around 9.30 pm on returning home after several days.
Wife's body was lying on bed
On reaching home, the husband saw that the main door is closed and bad smell is coming from the house. After this, when he went into the room, the wife's body was lying on the bed. According to preliminary investigation, the woman suffered a serious head injury, which shows that she was attacked and died three days ago. Because the body started rotting.
A case of murder has been registered at Hudkeshwar police station and investigation is on. The official said that it is too early to draw any conclusions. We are investigating whether something is missing from the house, so that the possibility of robbery can be ascertained. We are also analyzing the victim's mobile phone records, so that other clues that help in solving the case can be found.
