PhonePe UPI Circle Feature: The era of digital payments is growing rapidly in India. Nowadays, you will get the option of online payment from village to city. PhonePe has launched a new feature 'UPI Circle', which gives you the option to make payments to your family or friends from your UPI account. Even if they do not have their bank account. You will easily get the benefit of this on the PhonePe app.
There are two delegations in the feature.
This feature allows you to make payments to any other person i.e. secondary user from your UPI account. Secondary users can make payments up to a limited amount from your account. There are two delegations in this feature. With the help of the first delegation, the secondary user is allowed to make payments of up to Rs 15,000 per month and up to Rs 5,000 per transaction.
It does not require the permission of the primary user and there is also a second delegation in which your permission i.e. primary user is required for every payment. To give you an example, if your brother adds his sister to his UPI ID under the UPI Circle feature, then the brother has the right to give his sister the right to either make partial or full payment.
This is how you can use it.
First of all, you have to open the PhonePe app and then click on the option of 'UPI Circle'. Then enter the UPI ID of the secondary user or scan the QR code.
After this, select the type of delegation.
Send control to the secondary user and complete the setup after they accept it.
Increase safety in this way.
The secondary user will have to authenticate with a biometric or passcode.
The primary user can add a maximum of 5 secondary users at a time.
The primary user will get information about every transaction.
