Danny Denzongpa: Vijay Mallya, who is called the king of the beer industry in India, made beer a common drink in the country. Leading the United Bruge, he brought the consumption of beer in the Indian market to 45 crore cases annually. But this successful empire received an unexpected challenge from the northeast-from the well-known Bollywood actor Danny Denjongpa.
In 2009, Danny Denzongpa destroyed Mallya's plan by purchasing a beer distribution agency 'Rhino Agency' from Assam. This not only stopped Mallya's entry into the northeast, but Danny's company became the leading beer manufacturer of the 'Yuxom Bruberries' region.
Vijay Mallya's Beer Empire
Vijay Mallya included the United Bruge among the largest beer companies in India. Under his leadership, the popularity of beer increased tremendously, and beer consumption across the country reached 45 crore cases per year. But in North-East India, he stopped before he became dominated, and the credit goes to a film face.
Big decision taken in 2009
In 2009, Vijay Mallya wanted to buy his hold in North-East India by purchasing Assam's 'Rhino Agencies'. But Danny Denzongpa took a fast step and acquired the company himself. This strategic decision not only prevented the expansion of Kingfisher, but also strengthened the foundation of Yuksom Bruise.
Yuksom Bruge's success
After the acquisition of Rhino agencies, Yuksom Bruaries became the third largest Indian-owned brooari in North-East India after Kingfisher and Kimaya. According to a report by Sikkim Express, this brooari contributes about ₹ 100 crore to the local economy every year and gives employment to about 250 local people.
Danny's long journey in beer industry
Danny Denzongpa's journey in the field of Broiling began in 1987. In 2005, he named his Bruri as 'Yuksom Bruge' after his hometown. He then established 'Denzong Bruge' in Orissa and acquired Rhino agencies in Assam. Currently the annual production capacity of Yuksom Bruis is 6.8 lakh hectolitors, which ranks third after Kingfisher and Kimaya.
Danny's journey from actor to industrialist
Born in Sikkim in 1948, Tshering Phetso Denzongpa, known as Danny, made his debut in 1971 with the film 'Needer'. He has been a part of hit films like 'Love Story', 'Agneepath', 'Mathal' and 'Khuda Witness'. Despite the success in business, he did not get away from acting and still appears in selected films. In recent years, he has played strong roles in films like 'Baby', 'Naam Shabana' and 'height'.
