ChatGPT on Android restarted after sudden shutdown, OpenAI fixed the glitch

New Delhi: On Thursday, Android users were facing many problems like login and conversation on ChatGPT. According to the company, these glitches were affecting many of its key functions. However, after identifying the problem, OpenAI took immediate steps and now all services have been fully restored.

Giving information on its status page, OpenAI said that they have identified the problem and the solution has been implemented. All affected services have now been fully restored.

From login to image generation

According to OpenAI, a total of 13 features of ChatGPT were affected. These included login, chat, search, file upload, voice mode, GPTs, image generation, deep research, agents, codecs, chat, GPT Atlas and connectors.

OpenAI wrote on its status page that users were continuously getting errors in the affected services. Later it was told that the problem has been resolved and now all services are working normally.

Another disruption after Cloudflare outage

The incident comes a month after a Cloudflare outage caused massive disruption to several global websites, including ChatGPT. Due to this major problem in the network of the cybersecurity firm, many sites from X to ChatGPT were affected for hours.

Cloudflare said the issue was caused by an automatically generated configuration file that was designed to handle security risks. The company had said that there is no evidence of any attack or malicious activity behind this incident.

OpenAI and ChatGPT growing influence of

ChatGPT has grown tremendously in popularity over the past few years. According to OpenAI, one million companies like Walmart, Morgan Stanley and Target are now using its tools for internal tasks and customer services.

The company earns from the paid plans of ChatGPT, while a large number of people use its free version. Recently, OpenAI launched its web browser ‘Atlas’, which is considered a step towards challenging Google Chrome. In November, OpenAI made the ‘ChatGPT Go’ plan free for one year in India, which is still active and provides advanced AI tools to users at no charge.
