While no official announcement has yet been made regarding the release of the next installment, the 22nd installment, of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PMKSNY), media reports suggest that the government may release the 22nd installment at the beginning of the new year, 2026. If this happens, it will be a major relief for farmers.
When will farmers receive Rs. 2,000 in their accounts?
It is being speculated that the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana (PM Kisan 22nd Installment 2025) may be announced by the end of February. However, the date is not yet confirmed. Farmers should complete all necessary installment-related work before the official date is announced.
To receive the 22nd installment, complete these important tasks now.
If you want the 2000 rupees of the Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment Date) to be credited to your account on time, you should complete this task immediately. The government has repeatedly stated that installments will not be received without e-KYC and correct bank details. If you haven't made these necessary updates yet, do so now.
Complete e-KYC. Failure to update e-KYC may delay your next installment.
Link your bank account to Aadhaar. If your bank account is not linked to Aadhaar, the funds will not be credited.
Enable the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) option so that the Kisan Yojana funds can be credited directly to your account.
Updating bank details is essential. Check that there are no errors in the IFSC code, account number, or name.

How to do PM Kisan e-KYC?
Under this scheme, you can do e-KYC online through the website using Aadhaar OTP or offline through biometrics at a CSC center.

The government has now allowed farmers to update their address, name, mobile number, and bank details online by visiting the website.
To do this, visit the pmkisan.gov.in website.
Go to 'Farmer Corner' and click on 'Updation of Self-Registered Farmer'.
Enter your Aadhaar number and update your information.
Are you eligible for the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme?
If you own agricultural land and do not pay income tax, you are eligible for the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. However, those who own institutional land or hold government positions will not benefit from this scheme.
