Bollywood superstar and Baadshaah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is known for his charm quick wit and larger-than-life persona. But beyond his romance and stardom lies a man with very specific quirks. Recently his close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar spoke about Shah Rukhs serious obsession with one particular detail that will leave everyone surprised. It is the fit of the jeans. Karan Johar reveals Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘OCD’ about jeans On The Manyavar Shaadi Show Karan Johar spoke about Shah Rukh Khan’s unusual fixation. Recalling his experience Johar revealed “He (Shah Rukh Khan) has OCD about the fit of the jeans.” According to him SRK is extremely particular and even judges people based on how well their jeans fit. He further added “He can judge you if you wear badly-fitted jeans. He will think you are a bad person.” A story that began on Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge sets Johar further shared that Shah Rukh Khan’s obsession goes back to his early days in the industry. He revealed that it all started when he first met the actor on the sets of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. At the time Johar was working as an assistant director and was in charge of Shah Rukh’s clothes. Observing SRK’s frame Karan suggested that he should switch the brand of his jeans believing another brand would suit him better. However that particular brand wasn’t easily available in India in 1994. ‘Kaun pagal aa gaya hai?’: SRK’s reaction Despite the challenges Karan tried to convince Shah Rukh Khan with very detail. SRK however wasn’t impressed initially. Recalling the moment Johar shared that the actor reacted saying “Kaun pagal aa gaya hai? Kaha se aaya hai? Why is he giving me this advice?” (Who is that mad person? Where did he come from?) Confused Shah Rukh then turned to Aditya Chopra for guidance. According to Johar Aditya told him “Yeh South Bombay se aaya hai… inn logon ko pata hota hai.” (He is from South Bombay these people know it.) ‘Oh God!’: Johar at Mannat Karan concluded by revealing that since then Shah Rukh Khan has developed a very strong opinion about denim. Every time Johar visits Mannat he feels the pressure. Sharing another amusing moment he said “He is that crazy… Jeans ko dekhkar he can… so everytime I go to Mannat I say I am not wearing jeans he will give me that eye and ask ‘Kaha se mili ye jeans?’ and I know I am like ‘Oh God!’”
