Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar continues to break records and while the Ranveer Singh film has been making headlines for all of it, the team has now achieved a rather huge feat. On day 17 (Sunday), the movie officially entered the list of top 10 Indian films of all time (India Nett).

Dhurandhar opened big at the box office, and the movie continues to do well with every passing day; however, it has slowed down just a bit withAvatar: Fire and Ash’s release. Nonetheless, the movie now stands strong at the 10th spot on the top 10 Indian films list, and has dethroned Animal.

As of now, the movie is inching towards the Rs 600 crore mark, and that’s a feat that is sure to be celebrated and how.

It doesn’t just stop there, as Dhurandhar is the third film from 2025 to enter the list, with Kantara Chapter 1 at the fifth spot (Rs 662 crore) and Chhaava at the eighth spot (Rs 601 crore). It’ll be rather interesting to see whether the movie beats Stree 2 to climb up a spot, given how there’s immense word of mouth around the movie.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who directed Animal, also recently praised Dhurandhar.

"DHURANDHAR is built like a man who doesn't talk much & carries a masculine spine.... DHURANDHAR The title fits because the film moves with dominance & fierce. The depiction is very clear with zero chaos. Music, performances, screenplay & direction are on the top. #AkshayKhanna sir and @RanveerOfficial erased into air & just disappeared into characters effortlessly," he wrote.

Meanwhile, he also praised director Aditya and thanked him for showing "true weight of untold sacrifices." Dhar, in turn, expressed gratitude as well and praised him while at it.

"Coming from you, this means a great deal. I've always admired the fearlessness with which you stand by your cinema and your faith in unapologetic, masculine storytelling. Dhurandhar was shaped with sincerity, restraint, and conviction--your words give that journey its quiet validation. Grateful for voices like yours that keep Indian cinema honest, rooted, and strong," he said.

Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma, Karan Johar, and Siddharth Anand have also expressed their praise for Dhurandhar, and the movie continues to receive love from everyone in the industry.

Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar released on December 5 and continues to have a successful run at the box office. The movie also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.
